Hi, I am a divorcee with 3 children. I am disabled and can not work. I helped a friend who had 3 children to live with me because she got evicted and said she was going to live out of her car.  I told her no way - I have a house and a furnished basement.  She offered to pay rent, which would have helped me with the mortgage.  Then she found a guy on yahoo personals and asked me if he could come and live here for awhile.  I wasnt too keen on having a stranger in my house, but I let him.  He had no job, she just lost hers, so I never got any money to pay the bills that they were trippling up on.  He was on the internet (remember dial up) so if I needed to go on the computer I had to wait until he was off and I had to use my cell phone for everyday calls.  Turned out he was searching dirty sites, and on top of it he called my children retards!  I told him in no way is he going to live here calling my children that name.  A couple of days later I heard that word, ran to where I found this guy with my 10 year old in a head lock and hitting him in the head!  I intervened got my son out of there and told him to leave, and had my hand in his face when then he grabbed both my arms and put them behind my back.  My son seeing his mama was now in trouble, came full force to kick him you know where, but missed and got my face.  I had tried to break free of this jerk by putting leg behind his to trip him, but I obviously did it wrong cuz I slid to the flood.  Knowing that my son was trying to do some damage to you know where, he grabbed me picked me up and threw me into the patio door frame, which in turn I had a broken back because of this.  He did not go to jail because the ER doc said I had DDD and the D.A. said he couldnt press charges because he couldnt be sure that my DDD is what caused the broken back!  So they moved out, no money, a ruined basement and scratched up doors from his dog!  I had to sell the house to pay what I owed on all the bills and got a place for my children to go, and I stayed in my truck with my dogs.  I then got place for us, girls moved out and my son wanted to try to live with his father because him and my fiance didnt see eye to eye, so I said ok.  I got a settlement and everyone needed money, which left me broke and no one has paid me back, we're talking $25,000 I borrowed out!  Then we became homelss and not one of those people have paid me back. and on top of it, cuz of the settlement the IRS is now after me for $11,000 in taxes because of the settlement.  So now I have Degenerative Disc Disease, Lupus and Fybro.  Every day is a challenge for me, and Im stubborn, so I push myself to the limit always ending up in pain and bed,  My children are older, each have a place, boyfriend etc, except my son who is 19.  6 months ago we became homeless because my fiance who was in charge of paying the rent, lost his job, then lost unemployment and has been searching for a diesel technician job.  My son was supposed be set with a place to stay when I left with my fiance to go to his parents house up north. My son bounced to one friend to another, only being able to stay a day or two.  I was stuck up north, my fiance still hasnt gotten a job cuz there are none, and living in a mice filled basement room...6 months of that, is all I could take and wanted dearly to go home.  I found a house for rent on Craigs List and the landlord was kind enough to let me work off the security deposit because the former tenant left a gigantic mess.  So my son and I moved in and cleaned up the place, carpet cleaner came in, phone line in, food, and gas for truck to get my stuff out of my 2 storage lockers.  That in itself made me broke, so I borrow against my next monthly check.  Im already negitive big time for December's pay day, and of course have to come up with rent for december.  I had it all figured out until one of my sons friends need a place to stay. Now Im supporting 2 kids and myself.  As soon as we moved in I called the pharmacy to get my medications that was very hard to do living up north because it took an hour to get to the city and an hour back.  The pharamcy told me I no longer have Badger Care so instead of getting the co pay I usually pay, now their full price and omg! I cant believe how much 1 month's medication  costs!  So I could not get my meds which now i am in more pain, sick etc.  I know we wont have a Christmas. again..because of everything Im paying for.  Can someone help?
